Dairee Delite: Brantford’s Sweet Tradition Since 1953
A Scoop of History
It all started as Koster's Cream-EEE-Freeze back in 1953 on Brant Ave at Bedford Street. By 1965, the stand moved to King George Road, parked at the Brantford Mall, and rebranded as Dairee Delite.
Here's the fun twist: As local legend has it, this little ice cream stand changed hands in a poker game not once, but twice! The second lucky winner moved it to its current location in the Home Hardware plaza on St. Paul Avenue, where it continues to make memories (and sundaes) today.
