Still Saucing After All These Years – Brantford’s own Wingmaster!

Located on Erie Avenue in Brantford, Wingmaster has tantalised taste buds with its extensive array of over 200 sauces since 2008. From the fan-favourite Apple Pie to the fiery Blackenstein, there’s a flavour for every palate. Some of the more unconventional hits include PB&J and Gummy Bear, proving that creativity knows no bounds at this beloved establishment.

Owner Tre’s personal favourite? The classic Buffalo style, which he has perfected over years of culinary exploration.

Tre’s journey into the world of wings began in 2005 when he started cooking at Shooters on Fairview Drive. His passion and unique flavours quickly gained a following, and by 2008, he opened his own location. Since then, Wingmaster has become a must-visit for people all over Southwestern Ontario. The reach of Wingmaster’s reputation is vast, attracting a gentleman from California who makes a detour to Brantford whenever he travels to Toronto and a female client from Georgia who does the same.

“If you need flavours, come and see the Wingmaster,” says Tre with a smile. “I’m always keeping an eye open to see what’s next.”

The pandemic years of 2021 to 2023 saw a surge in orders as people stayed home but still craved the deliciousness of Wingmaster’s offerings. “For us, 2021 – 2023 were great years. Nobody was going out, they didn’t want to cook, so they were ordering lots of chicken wings,” Tre recalls.

Looking ahead, Tre has expanded his support to many local food establishments in and around Brantford, providing them with his signature sauces. The future of Wingmaster looks bright as Tre continues to innovate and bring new flavours to his loyal customers.
