Brantford Symphony Orchestra Book Fair Returns for 2026

One of Brantford’s most anticipated community events is back as the Brantford Symphony Orchestra Annual Book Fair returns to One Market Street from April 22 to 25, 2026.

Known as the largest second-hand book sale in Ontario, this long-running fundraiser has been a local tradition since 1964. For more than 60 years, it has drawn book lovers, collectors, bargain hunters, and curious shoppers from across the region. Some show up with shopping carts, rolling luggage, or wagons, ready to hunt for hidden gems. Others come hoping to find a few good books, a puzzle, or a surprise addition to their music collection. Over four days, One Market Street is transformed into a massive pop-up marketplace packed with gently used books, vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, puzzles, and more. It is part treasure hunt, part community tradition, and part fundraiser for a cause that continues to enrich Brantford’s arts scene.
