These campaigns utilized OpenAI’s technology to generate deceptive content across various platforms. Notably, the operations included Russia’s Doppelganger and Bad Grammar campaigns, China’s Spamouflage, Iran’s International Union of Virtual Media, and an Israeli firm, Stoic. Despite these efforts, OpenAI concluded that AI did not significantly enhance the reach of these operations.
