The Dough Box, a popular build-your-own pizza chain, has opened its latest location in Brantford, Ontario, marking its 14th establishment across the province. The new Brantford location, which opened just a week ago, is already creating quite a buzz in the local community.

Roger Auger, the driving force behind the Brantford store, has always dreamed of owning a pizza place. His dream took shape after he experienced The Dough Box in Hamilton, instantly recognizing the unique appeal and quality of the restaurant.

The Dough Box offers a distinctive and immersive experience from the moment you walk in. Customers are greeted by the enticing aroma of freshly made dough, tangy sauce, and a medley of freshly cut ingredients. The counter display showcases a variety of sauces, cheeses, and toppings, inviting patrons to craft their perfect pizza.

The build-your-own pizza process begins with choosing a crust from four options: Gluten-Free, Extra Thick, Cauliflower, or Original Thin. Next, customers select from five savoury sauces: House Red, Spicy House Red, Creamy Parm, Buffalo Pizza, and Pesto. The selection of cheeses is vast, featuring nine choices, including Shredded Mozzarella, Parmesan, Asiago, Goat’s Cheese, Feta, Fior di Latte Mozzarella, Ricotta, Gorgonzola, and Vegan options. The toppings are equally diverse, ranging from classic pepperoni to a wide variety of vegetables and eight different meat options, including three halal choices. There are 10 dips and sauces available for dipping or drizzling to add an extra layer of flavour to your meal.

We had the pleasure of trying The Dough Box for lunch at the office, and it was unanimous! 5/5 of us would order from the Dough Box again. One cheese pizza, a pepperoni and a meat lovers, along with an order of garlic parm pizza bites, came to just $58, including tax.

But The Dough Box is more than just pizza. Their menu features a variety of offerings, including meatballs, garlic pizza bites, and six delectable pasta dishes such as Carbonara, Chicken Rose, Grilled Vegetable, Sausage and Peppers, Classic Italian, and Chicken Tetrazzini. For salad lovers, options include Farmer’s Market, Apple Pecan, Classic Caesar, and Arugula salads. They also serve chicken wings and satisfy sweet cravings with Nutella or strawberry dough bites and store-baked cookies.

For those who prefer not to customize, The Dough Box offers premium pizzas like Spicy Buffalo, Four Cheese, Twisted Club, Electric Avenue, Bee Stinger, and Peach Pizza.
